Which contract to choose: fixed or flexible?

Hello everyone.

I am new to this forum and I seek for some advice.

A new director of the company I'm working for has set a goal to manage the company energy consumption. We've already chosen an energy supplier (EDF energy) but we are considering a pricing scheme. There are two types of pricing available: fixed and flexible. on the one hand, fixed pricing seems matching as it allows you to pay and not worry for a few years but on the other hand, with flexible pricing you have more opportunities to save money.

Maybe someone there has had any experience in that, sharing will be highly appreciated.

First welcome to the site & I don't think to many of us have to much knowledge about British pricing & systems. With that said the best thing to do is put pencil to paper & run through some scenarios - electric price increases, business is booming, business slows down, etc... look at the different results & see which is the best based on your company and projections
